Is every time that you engage in sex, the reason is for producing children.? Are you celibate if you don’t want anymore children , or your spouse is post menopause? Because if you are having sex , and not producing children, you are a hypocrite because you are not practicing what you preach.
You make another common specious argument, which betrays a catastrophic misunderstanding of human reproductive biology. Regardless, the primary PURPOSE of sexual intercourse is reproduction. Other purposes are secondary and support the primary purpose.

you can have sex as often as you want with your husband or wife and it may NOT result in pregnancy... almost never... until it does.

If this nation were a Christian nation, I would expect and hope that those restrictions were put back in place. And eventually if and when this nation and the “church” repents for their reprobate mindset, they will be.
