Technology from about 75 years ago. This is almost 100 year old technology. Imagine what we have now. I mean, I hope we have amazing things waiting in the wings.

Imagine the fallout (pun intended) of a nuclear powered aircraft crashing into a housing ediition in Maryland or somewhere. I think that might have shelved the project. They put a hanger area in Idaho for it though.

Its comical when I read about “the enormous technical challenge” posed by building small modular nuclear reactors, when the Navy has been doing it for 70 years.
