The “clipping” of the telomere with each cell division is your biological clock. If one does not die of disease or trauma your own telomers will be your demise. With each division of a cell it becomes slightly less functional and we age slowly and then die when the functional processes of the cells are not adequate to maintain life.

Me = 77 and am shooting for maximum age so long as I am mentally competent and not in great pain. Based on my familial history and health history I will probably check out in 10 to 15 years or perhaps less. I am okay with this.

All my uncles and aunts died between 70 and 80. But then they were all heavy smokers for most of their lives...........
