Not likely. We did win two National Championships by not winning the Big Ten championships.
This is BS! Get rid of the conference championship games.
Have the top four teams in the conference play a conference play-in game, the two winners go to the playoffs.
The #1 seed hosts the #4 seed and the #2 seed hosts the #3 seed.
Auburn shows up for this game though.
Make the conference title game the first round of the playoffs.
And cut the number of teams in the playoffs. 12 teams is too many. They did that to shut the crybabies up. But they are still crying for that 12th spot. Look at Texas crying to be in the CFP. Really 9-12th shouldn’t even be there so they should all just STFU on trying to argue your way in.

Texas showed up last night. It’s a rivalry game, anything is possible.
Losing to Florida should automatically disqualify you from the playoffs.
