Did God give you a miracle?

Although, I will not give particulars to protect myself, God performed a miracle for me last night.

I was traveling from my work camp to a gas compression station, which compresses LNG to allow it to flow through the pipes easier.

The road I was traveling on was good, except for after the T-intersection, then it turned very ice with hard packed ice with grooves in the road that could catch your tire. I slowed down to about 50km/hr, trying to be safe. However, the road still caught my tire and I spun out of control.

I had no control over the truck and was spinning out of control, while heading towards the ditch and no ability to stop and there was nothing to stop the truck from going into the ditch.

However, the truck stopped dead at the edge of the road with no discernible reason why it should have stopped.

I should mention that I was listening to a podcast while traveling and, just before the incident, my phone kept turning on my online radio, where they are playing Christmas tunes 24/7 and I couldn't shut it off no matter what I did, which forced me to turn off my cell phone completely, which I can see being deliberate to cause me to pay more attention to the upcoming hazard.

I am just extremely thankful right now.

First, I’m wildly happy that Jonty was protected and second, I’ve got a huge list of times I was seconds or minutes behind an accident simply because “something” held me up as I was about to leave the house.

The variables are always can’t find/I forgot/the dogs suddenly needed some little thing/had to stop going out the door to come back and answer a wrong number last minute phone call, etc.
It’s always miraculous delays.

Since this thread is all about divine intervention, please would everyone here say a prayer for me.

On top of everything else I’m battling walking pneumonia and I’m quite ill.

I cant go to the hospital as there is absolutely no one to care for my dogs for even a day, let alone an extended stay , and they are all I have left of my life.

God bless every one of you and may He always keep you from the harm that might have been.

He is an awesome God indeed.

Thank you. It has been very difficult for me. The grand daughters are feeling this loss as he packed their lunches and drove them to school every day. He played with them read stories to them, played guitar for them, made meals with them. Huge loss for our family.

Oh my dear friend, I’m so sorry.

He sounds like he was a very wonderful man and I know that just makes the loss worse.

I wish I had something to comfort you more but please know I’ll always answer you if you write me.

God bless and much love.

❤️

We lost our son 2-1/2 yrs ago & I still struggle every day, so I know the pain you’re experiencing. It’s called grief & I’m not sure it ever gets easier, especially during the holidays & birthdays & anniversaries. I’ll keep you in my prayers.

I expect that all of us have been recipients of miracles that we don’t even know about. The Bible says that we have angels, and I believe it. Just leaving from Point A to arriving at Point B, safely, on I-40 30 miles away is a miracle. Some of those non-English-speaking 18-wheeler drivers may have surrounded you.

I definitely will pray for you (I just did, actually). I can relate.

About 10 years ago, both Hubby and I had serious pneumonia at the same time. If it weren’t for the cats’ care, we’d have decided to never get out of bed again, ever. And I’m not even kidding.

The turn for the better came when our neighbor brought homemade chicken noodle soup. At least, that is what we credit for recovery in spite of inhalers and meds which didn’t seem to be working. We consider our recovery a miracle.

Amen. God’s miracles are real. I had my own version of that a few years ago. I had just enough time to think of my wife, and the next thing I remember was waking up safely on the side of the road. The last thing I remembered before that was a car getting ready to hit me head on at over 60 mph. I can tell you there was no time to move out of the way. I am here today because of God’s mercy.

If that constitutes a miracle then I’ve had hundreds of them.

Did God give you a miracle?

Every day, but especially on May 24, 1971 when I gave up my attempt to run my own failed life and begged Him to save me from Sin as my master, and to protect me from myself. And He did, right away. From then on, the miracles have been TNTC (Too Numerous To Count), including life/death ones.>

At 89, I have come to expect at least one every day, and praise God right when it has happened! Often it is by a person or by timing, or both; amd recognizing it I tell them so.

This article by you is the first one of today, and it's only 7:14 am!
