Andrew Cuomo tells donors he’s ‘not going anywhere’ as speculation swirls over another run

He’s not Cuo-ing away!

Former Gov. Andrew Cuomo isn’t packing his bags for Florida anytime soon — telling campaign donors he is sticking around as speculation swirls about another comeback attempt.

“The campaign may be over, but our work is not. I’m not going anywhere,” Cuomo said in a letter to donors to his mayoral campaign and obtained by The Post — citing his commitment to fighting antisemitism and improving public safety.

The letter echoes a string of recent messaging by Cuomo in only the few weeks since his Nov. 4 election loss – in which he’s teased the possibility of running for office again. Rumors have swirled he may be scoping out a future gubernatorial run or congressional bid.

A separate open letter released by Cuomo’s team Monday sparked immediate backlash from users on X – including a state senator who drew a brutal comparison between the former governor and a venereal disease.

"...Andrew is basically the human personification of herpes. Just because you can’t see it right this second, don’t mean he’s gone away!” railed state Sen. Gustavo Rivera (D-33).

“Please, dude: just be like Hep-C so we can get rid of you already!” he added.

Thank you very much and God bless you.

Four long years of Madmani might do the trick.

He can’t be serious. Cuomo’s campaign donors just lost their entire investment. He expects them to line up for another round so soon? Maybe it’s time to think small.
If Andrew remains addicted to holding some kind of office, start looking at becoming Mayor of some hidden little Hamlet in the bowels of Brooklyn. You’ll have your own office suite, one with big windows and “accommodating” secretaries.

He’ll do whatever Deep State tells him to do.

He's a nepo baby. The only reason he got into politics is because of his father. He has no useful skills and offers nothing.

We don't get the best people because the best people know the job is just a hassle; you always have to be "on", ready to react. It must be exhausting. Only pompous narcissists like Cuomo, who in his own mind, believes he's God's gift to the world, run for office.

What else does he know how to do other than to show up at events and speechify? That's his whole gig.

By the time Mandami is done Cuomo will be an old man. You know…the age where some new governor like him, would kill him.

Andrew, you are done. Donate your money to someone else. Go find a place where you can molest your staff in peace.

I think Cuomo might be able to win a NY State Dim primary for Governor. The Dims have so few top candidates.

He deserves a ten year vacation to the Big House for his tainted governance.

You may be right, but I think the Dims - their voters - could still give him another chance.

Perhaps Cuomo believes or has evidence that Madmami will in fact be declared an illegal and forced to resign the office. He can’t be mayor if he is deported.

There are most probably strong forces within the Democrat party that can’t stand the prospect of a socialist mayor of NYC.

Cuomo then becomes the go to guy

"I'm not going anywhere." - Former Gov. Andrew Cuomo

Of course not. Where could he possibly go?

If not for his father's political career, this guy would be a mid-level manager at a government agency, where the most difficult parts of his job would be fitting his ego through the door into his office every workday morning and dodging sexual harassment claims from the female employees in the building.
