Even if you were responsible or had any obligation there would be no intersection with a tribe of indians that would come into play.
Thanksgiving has nothing to do with indians. Not the first one, any subsequent one, or the modern one. Its not a celebration of “land taking”.
There is no celebration of land taking in the pilgrim one.
The official one we celebrate today was started as a celebration of giving thanks for having defeated the British.
Yeah, pretty much the same here.
There were a few token Thanksgiving items that got about 8 feet of shelf, mostly Halloween crap and the Christmas stuff still boxed and on pallets, in that isle.
Pretty soon it will be “fall holiday” and “winter holiday.”
Then... nothing.
