After six congressional Democrats released a video advising members of the U.S. military and national security community to “refuse illegal orders,” President Donald Trump said the lawmakers should be tried in court for “SEDITIOUS BEHAVIOR, punishable by DEATH!” But legal experts told us this was not sedition and that the legislators were restating the law that only lawful orders must be followed.
“Sedition is trying to overthrow the government with force or violence,” Eric R. Carpenter, a professor of law at Florida International University College of Law, said in an email to us. “In the video, the elected officials are just telling service members to follow the law. They are not telling service members to overthrow the government.”
The White House later said that Trump didn’t mean the Democrats should face the death penalty, but the press secretary argued that the video encouraged troops to defy the president.

Of course, the Democrats found unbiased ‘experts’ to support their position. Kinda like the neutral ‘fact checkers’ who always claim Orange Man Bad.

Rocketboy (Kelly) definitely had presidential ambitions its all to establish his “bona fides!’ as a possible Tier 1 Prez candidate. The others are angling for Tier 2 VP, the exception to some extent is Slotkin. Her ego is such she thinks she’s Tier 1 material certainly Tier 2. If they can provoke an over reaction by the administration. They will wrap themselves in the robes of martyrdom.
Fact check: Article 94 of the Uniform Code of Military Justice (UCMJ).
A person subject to the UCMJ is guilty of sedition if they:
With intent to cause the overthrow or destruction of lawful civil authority, create, in concert with any other person, revolt, violence, or other disturbance against that authority.
Fail to do their utmost to prevent and suppress a sedition or mutiny being committed in their presence.
Don’t have to be from JAG.
Training is what it is. If they restated it, that is not sedition.
Worse, I suspect that as members of Congress, they can get their legal teams govt funded. So can’t even attack them with legal fees.
Who are the “experts?” Adam Schiff? Nanzi Pelousy? Lieawatha? Lynn Cheney? George W. Bush? Need I go on?

Ok that’s fine, so the next time ANY Democrat has power, we will do the same thing and tell members of the military to NOT listen to ANYTHING that the President says, sound good or nah
So put them under oath.
“Has the President issued an illegal order to the military? And if so, what specific order has he issued that is illegal?”
“If the President has not issued any illegal order, then can you clarify your statement in the video and express to the troops that, given no illegal orders have been issued, that they should follow all orders as directed?”
Put them on the stand and stick them into a perjury trap.
Same “experts” that denied illegal immigrants were in the country, supported human-caused “climate change”, and actually think that men can have babies?

Taken with EVERYTHING else they’ve said and done about conservatives, and Trump in general, it’s as seditious and treasonous as it gets...

It’s clever, I’ll give them that. Considering some of them are CIA with “Games and theory” experience... this is not a surprise.

That statement is a deception.
They were telling service members to defy Trump’s orders which violates the military code, and that one pertains to Kelly and that is the grounds to court martial his sorry ass. That part of the code says nothing about overthrowing the government.
Also, why did not Kelly stand up for the thousands of servicemen kicked out for not taking the jab based on their understanding it was an unlawful order?

Then why is what they [Kelly] did specified in the military code as grounds for action?
