All the people you mentioned are friendly and a different strand of conservatism that doesn’t seem welcome in current GOP

I know you get this and understand they wont win elections without some coalition like that with indies. The hardcore base isn’t enough.

Some of those people need to be in executive positions, not hanging around making noise as a tiny minority in a major legislative body.

I'd vote for Thomas Massie for governor in a heartbeat.

I'm not sure I'd even want MTG to serve on my local school board. I might be convinced, though.
