House Speaker Mike Johnson said Tucker Carlson’s decision to interview white supremacist Nick Fuentes on his podcast last month was a “big mistake.”
“He has a lot of listeners, and I think giving Nick Fuentes that platform is a big mistake,” the Louisiana Republican told The Hill in an interview published Tuesday.
Johnson said that he had not listened to Fuentes before but that he “sort of knew” who the far-right provocateur is. After listening to a compilation of some of the “worst things” Fuentes has said, Johnson called it “vile, terrible stuff.”
“I mean, it’s not just antisemitic, it’s openly racist, it’s violent — things you can’t even repeat on the House floor,” Johnson said. “We should not be giving a platform to amplify those views. And I think that’s important for us to say.”

“Name calling seems to be a boomer thing.”
_______
Are you saying you are like a boomer, because that’s your primary strategy - calling people stupid.
You’re not convincing and your insistence that younger people are smarter is absolutely ridiculous. Get some wisdom and come back.
The old conservatives lose battle after battle—and then tell young people they are stupid.
This is not a good plan.
Like what? His multiple times praising Hitler, for example? Hoping one day to have a stadium filled with people singing a song "Heil Hitler"? What was "out of context" about that?
Fuentes has said some terrible things, which he’s undoubtedly been paid to do.
He is in every thread defending praising Hitler, fantasizing about rape, saying things like Charlie Kirk’s wife is happy he was murdered, etc. as being things normal people say and do, and suggesting such things are deranged is “name calling”, “stupid”, etc. He says a person who says such things is “brilliant”, we have a lot to learn from, saying and doing things like this is “all part of the hero’s journey”, etc.
Just see for yourself:

He’s talking about a Kanye West song.
The boomer virtue signalers get to feel good about themselves attacking Fuentes.
It is an adrenaline rush.
Let them enjoy themselves—they won’t be around when key decisions have to be made by real leaders a couple of decades from now.
Johnson is no the arbiter of who Tucker can and can’t interview. Now, is Fuentes a complete retard, yes. But if Tucker wants to interview him, that’s only up to Tucker.
Good luck on winning your “battle” hahaha!😂
Good luck getting young conservatives to work hard to elect Republican candidates in 2026 and 2028.
Who wants you, with your ideology, electing anyone?
If you see one of those young conservatives out there working for a local Republican make sure and let them know they are stupid and you want nothing to do with them.
Lol.
You can’t call what you are a conservative.
Don’t pay any attention to me.
Go talk to some conservatives under age 35.
Ask them what they think of Fuentes.
If you don’t like what you hear make sure and call them names.
Carlson: "By the way, it is not a defense of all of Fuentes’ views. We interviewed him on the show and said it is totally immoral to hate Jews as a group because it’s totally immoral to hate any group. Period. That’s always wrong."
“Go talk to some conservatives under age 35.
Ask them what they think of Fuentes.”
___________
What do you think of him, and why are you so enamored with him?
Tucker interviews Fuentes. Then, every outlet — left, right and center — talks about said interview for a month afterwards. And yet, somehow Tucker’s a bad guy for platforming Fuentes.
Make it make sense. If they really wanted to diminish Fuentes, they would have ignored the interview rather than amplify it.
It wasn’t out of context. The guy is scum.
