Judge Cameron Currie dismissed the false statements charges against Comey and bank fraud charges against James without prejudice, meaning the charges could be brought again.

More defense costs for the pair....didn’t this judge ask the attorney is she was “Trump’s minion” or something to the effect?

Fine, put a qualified attorney in there TODAY, and get the trial restarted now.

Appointing an inexperienced Prosecutor to these cases was a huge mistake.

Exactly. How much corruption and bias has been exposed in our judicial system since Trump came down the golden escalator in 2015. This is just another example and will be rectified on appeal.

…meaning the charges could be brought again.

They had better be.

Nope!
Save them both for the upcoming conspiracy trial, it’s a bigger deal, and being charged out of Florida, not DC. There’s no way they were going to get a conviction against Comey in DC.

The statute of limitations has expired.

As to Comey it is. The statute of limitations has run. Many thanks to Special Prosecutor “Bull” Durham. Comey was dead to rights on perjury for personally signing FISA warrant applications swearing there was probable cause for Crossfire Hurricane when the FBI knew that wasn’t the case. Durham let the statute expire. This was always a weak case against Comey, but it’s all that was left still within the statute

And those of on the right wonder why the insanity from the left never slows or stops it's clear that some of our leadership act like seven monkeys trying to f*ck a football, unforced errors on top of stupid mistakes.

Sometimes I get a feeling in my gut that we are being played and played hard by both sides.

Just refile with a proper US attorney and do it ASAP. Neither one of these skunks should get off Scot free just because of a small technicality. Imagine if it was a multiple murderer for example, they absolutely would refile charges.

The statute of limitations ran out on Trump but that didn’t stop Leticia James and Alvin Bragg from continuing with that sham sht.

Procedural dismissals are always without prejudice. But the statute of limitations is calculated as if the first case had never been filed. So, as to Comey, it’s over

On January 27, 1994, Cameron McGowan Currie was nominated by President Bill Clinton to a seat on the United States District Court for the District of South Carolina vacated by Falcon Black Hawkins Jr. Currie was confirmed by the United States Senate on March 10, 1994, and received her commission on March 11, 1994. She took senior status on October 3, 2013.

A federal judge on Monday dismissed the criminal cases against former FBI Director James Comey and New York Attorney General Letitia James, concluding that the prosecutor who brought the charges at President Donald Trump’s urging was illegally appointed by the Justice Department.

The rulings from U.S. District Judge Cameron McGowan Currie amount to a stunning rebuke of the Trump administration’s efforts to target Trump’s political opponents as well as its legal maneuvering to hastily install a loyalist prosecutor willing to file the cases.

This is a temporary setback. Nothing More...

There is some confusion here.....the meat of the case was not ruled upon...the FOX story is incorrect pertaining to Comey’s false statements

Dismissal was made due to the validity question re: Halligan’s appointment.

‘Without prejudice’ was not in error and suggests Comey’s case can be appealed, despite original statute of limitations expiring. Since the original case was filed before limitations expired, it’s apparently still hot.
