This chart is useless without showing how many leftl.
Yes, net migration would be far more interesting.
It’d also be useful to know how many are illegal aliens, or even legal immigrants.
It feels like a million are moving to Atlanta. đŁ
It’s also useless if it doesn’t show how many of those people are illegals.
B**lsh*t to the highest degree. Clickbait.
Of course megapolis get higher numbers
Surprises me Nashville out of state newcomers is twice the rate of Austin
Our literal twin in almost every way
Except of course Austin is weirder lol
Nashville is lib enuff trust me
Yes
NYC has list 600,000 to one million last five years
California even more a lot more
A U-Haul rate analysis is more useful.
Almost 7 to 1...for NY state as a whole not just NYC
“The latest census data showed that 121,000 New Yorkers left the Empire State in 2024”
700+K in vs 121K out.
NYC is always popular with younger college aged and young professionals it is THE City for a reason. Having lived in NYC in the 90s and again in the 2018/19 it’s always growing regardless of what people blab about there is always a shortage of housing and people just keep coming. LA same same it’s a trendy city for young professionals. The Texas four are attracting middle age professionals Tesla driving tech types, H1Bs, and management/marketing types with Houston being the energy industry capital and Austin being the techie. Dallas is finance, management and Corp headquarters. S.A. Is surprising but it’s cheap to live there and they’ve trying to steal Austin techies too.
The metro area I am near is far down that list and I am thankful for that.
This doesn’t comport with all the news about New Yorkers moving to Florida and beyond.
NY gaining ? Only two Florida cities ....far down the list ?
The title says âAmericansâ but we know that itâs Illegals that are flocking to places like New York. Americans are fleeing liberal hellholes.
The good news is they are going to big cities. Better news is they are staying away from ND. We have a saying, 40 below keeps out rif raf.
But they are moving in, we have a neighbor from Denver that likes to sue his other neighbors. He bought land locked land with no legal way to enter his property, so he sued a neighbor for easement rights and lost. Supposedly spent over 100 grand in legal fees.
Agreed. Without it, it’s just propaganda.
Not one listed id even want to drive through.
NY’s always had a lot of churn.
i call bs on these stats.
it’s going into winter and no one is looking towards FL? LOL
not to mention all the retirees.
yea, total bs. my guess, they’re trying to use this to pump interest in NYC as people flee the state
Those HAVE TO BE ILLEGALS MOVIG IN!
