I googled it and here is what came up.

While the brand Royal Dansk states its cookies are made in Denmark, some cookies sold under the “Danish style” or similar names in India are made there. It’s crucial to check the packaging and product description to confirm the country of origin, as both Royal Dansk (made in Denmark) and “Danish style” cookies made in India are sold in the market.
Cookies made in Denmark

Brand: Royal Dansk

Origin: The company states its cookies are made in its factories in Nørre Snede and Ribe, Denmark.
Key indicator: The iconic blue tin is a key indicator of the original Royal Dansk brand.

Cookies made in India

Brand: Other brands and some varieties are made in India.
Example: Some “Danish style” butter cookies sold in India are manufactured there, and online listings for some “Royal Dansk” products may also specify “Made in India”.
Key indicator: Check the product description or packaging for “Made in India” to be sure.

How to choose

To ensure you are buying the original Royal Dansk, look for the authentic blue tin and check that it says “Made in Denmark” on the packaging.

If the product description specifies “Made in India,” it is a different product, even if it’s also a butter cookie.
