It has been stated again and again that these programs predate the creation of the Department and are in no danger of being eliminated.

Given the money being spent on many schools throughout the nation via local school bonds, you’d think we’d be getting more bang for the buck. All these nice pretty facilities are, in general, still turning out mush-brains by the hundreds. Don’t get me started on technical colleges.
