Files and Lists are two different things. People assumed Epstein had a little black book with names and that is his list. There is a flight log with names. There also exists a phone List. Is that what you are referring to?

The victims could have named names anytime they wanted but never did so. Begs the question of why?

Had they done so, they would have immediately been targeted for malicious prosecution under the guise of defamation. Their personal and financial lives would have been ruined. And the powers that be would rule their deaths "suicide caused by depression" despite finding multiple bullet wounds. We've seen this movie before. Having congress release the information provides legal insulation for the victims. That's why MTG volunteered to read the names during a congressional session. MTG, Nancy Mace, and Lauren Boebert have bigger balls than most of their congressional counterparts ... and more balls than many republicans here on FR as well.

So why did the Admin. fight so hard

Perhaps Trump was trying to keep congress focused on passing legislation that is meaningful to America. Not focused like a laser on a single issue that leads to nothing new. Add to that, it's a never ending issue in that enough will never be enough. The whole point of what massie and mtg are doing is to stop Trump and the MAGA agenda by distracting simple minded people. It's really sad how easy it was for them to do that.

Files and Lists are two different things..

That's finely tuned falsity, kinda like "I didn't have sex with that woman," just BJs. He called the files a "hoax," "bullshit," a "scam" and "fake news."

Nobody but dummies thought there was some condensed, comprehensive document, with a "list" of "clients," but there certainly are manifests, financial records, emails et al with a long LIST of VIPs visiting Epstein's pedo paradise. Fed.gov knows and can easily LIST exactly who, but won't. For reasons unknown, Trump wants that LIST kept from us.

And he broke a major campaign promise. After years of telling supporters he right the wrong, he turned immediately after taking office, then called us names and told us he no longer wanted our support. Wut?!

So niggle around in minutia and finely tuned definitions, but his handling of the matter has been terrible, and yes, highly untruthful.
