My mom had eight children and too many of us too close together in years. If she were alive and read this she’d be literally rolling on the floor with laughter.

I was a child in grade school when “experts” switched us to sight reading and New Math. They made learning significantly more difficult. Fortunately, my older sisters listened to me, rolled their eyes and taught me the way they’d been taught. Most of my classmates were not so lucky. In my working life, only engineering experts and a handful of scientists I worked with were worth listening to. The rest of them in health, finance and diet were, at best, winging it.
Aren’t those the same experts who insist the baby be allowed to choose its own “gender”, irrespective of the “sex assigned at birth”?
“experts”....LOL
They rate right up there with “universities” and “professors”....
Useless as teats on a feral boar hog....
What do you mean, it didn’t work out for them? It worked out great! They got everything they wanted and then some.

Don’t get me started. My son-in-law doesn’t give any credence to any child rearing advice we offer. Zero. He would rather look it up on the internet and trust total strangers.
Has been and a drip under pressure.
Well, considering that the definition of “expert” in a courtroom is simply someone with more knowledge about the subject in question than the average person, lots of people can be experts.
There was a time when I was considered an expert by government in how to classify documents and e-information in one niche of systems, simply by the time and the breadth of my work in that niche. That, and most of the experienced subject matter true experts had moved on to other projects.

With all these ridiculous techniques here you end up with a mini-god with no respect for authority. A self-centered spoiled brat who runs the household. Who violently melts down when things don’t go their way.
These are the same people who insist we shouldn’t train up our children in God’s ways, because we have to let them choose themselves. Unfortunately many parents have given up their authority over their children to schools, doctors and other institutions. Hillary Clinton “It Takes A Village.” We all see the rotten fruit that is producing.
The “experts” are coming for our children.
