I am getting a Miami Cloudflare error on some sites like The Conservative Treehouse. Someone cleaned it, like with a cloth.

I think JR once said he avoids services like Cloudflare for this very reason.

You go to the store, the Net (interesting term 🤔🤔, you know like fishing net) goes down….. you cannot purchase anything because your money does not transfer. You cannot go home because your car and the toll roads need your digital ID to allow usage…..

In a way, it is amusing. The Cloudflare "human verification" intermediate step has likely been playing an interesting "bandwidth" problem for them.

They've wanted to play ICANN domain registrar, verification middleman and more. Sounds like they have found an indigestible snack....

Some sites, when the Cloudflare "wait while we check" stuff comes up is enough for me to move one to some other, less "middleman" site.

In that regard, FR seems to cotton to no middleman. :)

Seems like X is back, but I still can't get to my Nation's Benefits site.

I've been having a problem getting past my credit union's CloudFlare "verify you're a human" thingy (error # 106010). Sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't for weeks now (I use Brave browser).

The wonders of technology....

Our colleagues at TechRadar acquired a statement directly from CloudFlare itself, as the service continues to investigate the ongoing downtime. The statement reads:

“We saw a spike in unusual traffic to one of Cloudflare’s services beginning at 11:20 UTC. That caused some traffic passing through Cloudflare’s network to experience errors. We do not yet know the cause of the spike in unusual traffic. We are all hands on deck to make sure all traffic is served without errors. After that, we will turn our attention to investigating the cause of the unusual spike in traffic. We will post updates to cloudflarestatus.com and more in-depth analysis when it is ready to blog.cloudflare.com.”
