I can’t wait to see how this strategy backfires.
Rural roads too?? The cranks in UK will not be able to pull this off. The eco-cranks, the climate cranks, the neo-nitwit marxists and the trans whatevers
It's a "war" in which the only casualties are the people on two wheels.
Wow. The stupidity! Not only will more cyclists die, automobile collisions will will skyrocket.
But on the other hand, it makes sense, since the EuroElites want to kill off all the indigenous peasants anyway.

Monty Python is no longer as ridiculous as present day Britain. lol
Weren’t careless bicyclists responsible for the death of Lawrence of Arabia? At least that’s the impression the movie gave me.
As long as it doesn’t upset their new overlords, the Muslims, the UK can pass anything.
What is it with those limeys? Why have they suddenly gotten stuck on stupid?
Switch to camels.
Spikes in the bike lanes would be so much cheaper and solve multiple problems.
I'm beginning to think that somebody should start analyzing the bread in the U.K.

“What is it with those limeys? Why have they suddenly gotten stuck on stupid?”

“Hard times create strong men.

Good times create weak men.
And weak men create hard times.” — G. Michael Hopf.
Western Europe, Australia and North America have had it too easy. They’ve become weak.
Wellp, if you won’t let me pass them, I guess I have to ram em.
That’d be good for the flailing British automobile industry...
Anticipate Muslim and African immigrants just running the cyclists down, leaving the authorities dumbstruck, unable to arrest them because "running over bicyclists and pedestrians is just part of their rich, unique culture."
