My Mom had a 1962 Buick LeSabre, I drove it in the mid 1960s when I obtained my drivers license and it was very comfortable and fast with that big engine (don’t remember exact displacement)!

It probably had the 401 "nailhead". Don Garlits used this engine in some of his early dragsters. Back then a couple of engineers from Buick would take regular production leSabres tweak the engines and sneak them out for some "impromptu" street racing.

My buddy had a 63 riviera. Beautiful car.l Only two problems were it drank gas and the trans was a clunky dynaflow. Still I love to have it now.
