In a story that’s got self-defense advocates cheering and the radical left fuming, a lone veteran in his home faced down three armed intruders—and dropped all three with precise head and chest shots, ending the threat in seconds. The November 12, 2025, incident, captured on video that’s gone viral, shows the vet’s calm resolve as he protected his life from the break-in crew. But the real jaw-dropper? The mother of one dead thug defending her son, claiming the vet used “excessive force” because they “only tried to rob” him. “My son only tried to rob you, and you took his life—that was an abuse of force, YOU must pay for this,” she ranted, flipping victim and villain in a logic twist that could encourage more crime.

“Ran out of ammo. “
If I recall correctly, it was in the ‘70s I read a story in the newspaper about a cop in Lima OH who shot a bad guy, and when asked him why he shot the guy six times he said “I didn’t have any more bullets in my gun.”
you forgot, “aspiring rap star”
His father? Who dat?

Michigan. Homeowner charged with manslaughter after shooting one of them, burglaring his home.

Hat tip to tumblindice!
3 future Brain Surgeons gone? Or were they on the cusp of becoming Rocket Scientists and discovering a revolutionary propulsion system?
We’ll never know.
Unfortunately, the linked story does not fit. The “intruders” in the Michigan story were not armed, and they were at the garage, not coming into his home.
The AI voice-over in the video said Georgia. For all that's worth.
Rocket surgeons ...
I am not thinking about breaking into this veteran’s house to commit suicide.
I wonder if mama was benefitting financially from her offspring’s illegal activities.
Take a look at Michigan’s laws on self-defense.
If this took place in MI and happened as stated, the homeowner was well within the law.

“I wonder if mama was benefitting financially from her offspring’s illegal activities.”
Mewzilla brings the heat and I bet this is correct!
Tons of conflicting misinformation about this incident out there. Some reports say homeowner has been charged with murder. Others say he was not charged, but is being sued by the dead hoodrats’ momma.
Good shoot. We need more of this, not less.
This is Georgia. I bet the homeowner walks. Let justice be done. And none of the deceased thuglets will ever rob anyone again. Happy ending.
I see a palm tree in the background, and so I assume this occurred in California, Arizona, Texas, Louisiana, Mississippi, Alabama, Florida, Coastal Georgia, or Coastal South Carolina. (Yes, I realize that palms grow in other states, but they are few and far between).
Would be nice if the author of the article simply told us the location.
If it happened in Arizona on November 12th, then I probably would have heard about it by now.
"I could tell you, but then I'd have to shoot you too."
Unfortunately, it’s not the Bee.
But it is “them” again. As usual.
I saw the video. Three of them.
He did the right thing
Yeah, but I thought it was kind of interesting how Google AI turned up not one but four home invasion cases where three individuals had been shot and killed by a homeowner.
FOX link to incident:
Location: Georgia.
“interesting how Google AI turned up not one but four home invasion cases where three individuals had been shot and killed by a homeowner.”
But none on November 12, 2025.
