I feel badly for the guy and hope things work out for him. That said, he would not be in this position had he not been a complete lush for years and years and drank his liver into oblivion. So my sympathy is limited.
Kosar is a prime part of why I used to be a Browns fan. I wish him nothing but the best.
HORRIBLE. 🙏
You wonder if the drinking was tied to CTE from playing football. In any event, prayers are warranted.
Bernie was a big part of one of the darkest nights of my young life, January 1, 1984, putting a very negative ending to my favorite all time season of college football. Positive thoughts up for this nightmare from my past. I forgive you in the name of the Scoring Explosion, one of the greatest offenses in the history of college football. He made my young mind comprehend and understand the meaning of the saying “That’s why you play the game”.
Get well Bernie. This Husker is behind you.
I met him a few times here in Miami. A true gentleman. I hope and pray for a full recovery.
Canes glory years
He doesn’t look good sadly
Can people people die from assholism like alcoholism
Just curious
He’s 61 and I’m 70.
He looks 89................
Done ,prayer is on it’s way. Stay strong my friend.
Prayers up for Bernie
Kosar took the Best wns to 2 AFC Championship games which is more than can be day d if any Browns QB since then. Kosar was featured in the ESPN documentary about pro athletes financially crashing. His own parents betrayed him.
We all face struggles of one sort or another. Looks like Kosar has had his share, some self-inflicted, some not. I believe that the merciful will obtain mercy. My willingness to pray for others is not a reflection on their worthiness, but of my own.
Prayers up for Bernie. He always threw sidearm but the ball got where it was aimed. The Browns used to be able to field a good quarterback.
