Figure A. The noontime position of the Sun in the sky, plotted over a year, produces a figure eight-shaped curve known as the analemma. Earth's elliptical orbit produces the curve of the analemma. Its lowest and highest points are, respectively, the winter and summer solstices. The vertical line running through the analemma is the meridian. This view shows the Sun at noon on 4 January 2007, the day of perihelion -- Earth's closest approach to the Sun.

The term hemisphere refers to one of the four regions of the world that were created due to the impact of the most influential line of latitude, the equator, and the most crucial line of longitude, the prime meridian. The oceans are the largest water bodies on the earth's surface, and according to the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Organization, they cover an area of roughly 139,000,000 square miles which is equivalent to 71% of the world's total surface area. While the region of the world north of the equator has the highest territory covered by land, the region to the south of the equator has the most area covered by oceans.
Composition of the Southern Hemisphere
The region of the world located to the south of the equator or the Southern Hemisphere is composed of both land and water. According to the book, Life on Earth, 33% of the world's total land area is situated in the Southern Hemisphere. The book also indicates that oceans in the Southern Hemisphere span across 81% of the region. Out of the five recognized oceans in the world, four have a section that is situated within the Southern Hemisphere. The Arctic Ocean is the only major water body that does not have a section situated within the Southern Hemisphere.

It is said that the energy produced evedy second from sun is many times more than the energy/heat that mankind and nature havd produced in the entirety of the worldxs existence (so all this bunk about mankind causing c,imate change is just that. Bunk.

There are many things that I have a problem understanding...
because they seem to contradict each other.
This is one of them.

There are others...

I understand that the moon causes a high tide when it passes overhead (gravitational influence)
but knowing that,
I do not understand why that causes a 2nd high tide on the opposite side of the earth.

I understand why hot air rises and cold air settles (buoyancy)...
but knowing that,
I do not understand why the beach is hot and the mountain tops are cold.

I understand why wind impacting you makes you feel cooler (wind chill),
but knowing that,
I do not understand why meteorites and returning spacecraft get hot when they impact the atmosphere.

I’d better not put any links about the Potsdam Gravity Potato then.

Sunlight heats the ground, and the ground in turn heats the air. In summer the sun is higher in the sky, so it heats the ground more effectively. The sun’s angle in the sky varies by 23.5 degrees, while the sun’s distance varies by only 0.34%.

The high tide opposite the moon is caused by the lack of the moon’s gravity, because it’s about 8,000 miles farther away from the moon than the nearer side of the earth. The earth is also orbiting the earth-moon barycenter so some of it is caused by centrifugal force.

High altitudes are cold because the air is thinner. The individual air molecules contain the same amount of heat, but because there are less of them the temperature is lower.

Meteors generate heat because they are converting kinetic energy into thermal energy through friction. Wind chills you because it’s carrying away body heat through convection.

Mountaintops are in a thinner part of the atmosphere than beaches at sea level; not as much air to absorb sunlight to make heat.

If wind hit you at 17,500 mph, the speed that spacecraft travel at when re-entering the atmosphere, it would heat you up too; it would probably cook you as well.

The last is friction from the atmosphere

The next to last maybe atmosphere too and it’s less dense there and doesn’t hold heat like on surface

Same question and answer: Why do you get closer to the fireplace during those winter evenings?

I think gravy is excellent on potatoes

But maybe 🤔 that’s just me

Of course you have to cook it in pots

If you plot the noontime position of the Sun in the sky over a one-year period, it produces a figure-eight shape on the sky (Figure A). This is the analemma.

Yeah...not a fan of anal enemas...
