KEWANEE, Ill. (KWQC) - Three women have been charged after police say there was an argument over the price of a pizza late Wednesday morning.
Nakeita Simpson, 33, of Elgin was arguing with Cenex gas station workers after the price of a pizza was a dollar more than what she had thought, according to Kewanee police.
When police arrived, they offered to pay the $1 to end the argument, but that didnβt work, police said.
The arguing continued and was joined by two women, Kianna Simpson, 27, and Diamond Lockhart, 18, both of Kewanee, police said.
The Cenex employees told police they wanted the women to leave, and while officers were walking them out, Nakeita pulled down a merchandise display near the entrance, breaking several items.
Police said they tried to place Nakeita under arrest, but she resisted, and all three women became combative and resisted arrest.
All three women were arrested and taken to the Henry County Jail, police said.
The three are each charged with:
Felony aggravated battery to a police officer
Obstructing a peace officer
Resisting a peace officer
Nakeita has an additional charge of criminal damage to property under $500, police said.

“Grand Opening......Grand Closing”
I noticed after a brawl over sauce in another state that my McDonald’s has a little sign saying they offer sauce packets matching the food orders and more than that will incur a separate extra charge.
Apparently that was to save the employees’ lives. The place with the brawl had a death threat to the manager who came out to help.
So instead of pizza, they had to settle for turkey-bologna sandwiches in the lock-up.
In fairness, they were late to their MENSA meeting and didn’t have time to deal with all this.
This black chick at work asked me where the colored printer was,
I told her, “Look. It’s 2025. You can use any printer you want.”

Transplants to the town that brought Chicago manners to the locals.
Clearly, this incident, I am with the officers. They went an extra stretch not to have to even have this situation even be an incident at all. Wish all of them were of this mindset, its more of an old peace officer style than law enforcement style. And clearly these pizza morons deserved what they got, they didn’t even want the thing to calm down.
Da disrespect was already served
Didndunuffins gonna get their respect
They just keep proving The Bell Curve is shockingly correct. Sadly.
They don’t need anymore pizza.
