Even more impressive is that Predator: Badlands" has the highest rating for a film in the franchise, as its current Cinemascore is an A-. This is huge news for the future of the franchise, and the latest chapter in the saga that Trachtenberg is building. As stated, "Prey" helped to revive the franchise when the story took audiences on a journey where a Predator faces off against the Comanchee Nation. The idea of an alien hunter taking on historical warriors was further explored in "Predator: Killer of Killers," which

Only in theaters right now? Sounds like a good sci fi premise.
The first one was enough for me
Moving pictures? There is a place where they are shown?
Predator: Badlands - Disney Consumes Another Franchise
Had he not said the last Predator movie,"Prey", was surprisingly good I would have missed it.
Thanks for the positive opinion.
Mr. Edison has done it again! Just put on your boater and head to your town's hub for base entertainments. There you'll find these marvelous machines that you put a coin in, crank the handle and observe pictures moving before your very eyes just like real life!

You can even slow the cranking for the hootchie-cootchie girl parts but be ready with your next coin when the time runs out.
Do you think that it is better than PREDATOR movie with Governor Arnold? You know the one from 1980s...
Predator is one of those go-to movies...can always watch.
The 4th(?) one with the boy and the loony bus is pretty good, too.
It’s got the highest rating in the franchise history cause no one wants to go to a movie theater anymore. It better have a higher rating....probably fake rating...
One will not be set back in life if movie not seen.
Predator
Alien/Aliens
Die Hard
Lethal Weapon
Terminator
Although I can’t watch most of them anymore, seen em too much...
I don’t take Drinker too seriously as a movie reviewer. He plays a ‘character’ on the internet, which is, embarrassingly enough, as is, but all his reviews are through the prism of the culture war. That’s not how random people consume movies.
I’d say it was comparable to the Arnold version. Maybe a little better in my opinion
I saw the preview for it when I went to the local theatre to watch Back to the Future. It didn’t look good in the preview but happy to hear it was better than it looked.
i dont go to movies anymore- tired of their woke nonsense- and high prices- but was surprised by the movie Joker which i thought was gonna be real woke- real raunchy- but surprisingly it wasn’t- and a pretty good movie if you like the batman series- the actor did a good job portraying the joker- other than that movie though i havent’ seen modern ones- we watch turner classics almost exclusively- but this movie in the thread sounds like it will be pretty good-
It sounds like “Cowboys & Aliens” although that also has a Christian theme to it.
I like Sci-fi and this sounds like something I’d like, thanks for the review.
Critical Drinker is worth watching simply for the hilarity of his take downs, but I often don’t agree with his ratings.
Thanks for the review. I was thinking of going to see it Sunday but passed because of the poor experiences with recent films. I’ll go next weekend.
Yes definitely go. sometimes I miss a good movie in the theater and then I feel pretty bad afterwards.
