She knew she was being set up here. I am an old white lady and that interviewer was a real shifty witch with one purpose. She was acting all nice to to get Sweeney to feel like she had to agree with what her nasty or jealous critics were saying and then shame her for doing those ads.
I think she was purposely speaking cautiously and stand offish to a snake who she surmised was out to get her.
