$2,000 won’t change someone’s standard of living. However, $700B would have a material impact on the deficit.
Stop thinking like a Democrat!
if it helps win midterms, extending runway for passage of more R reforms, it could be quite positive for economy and national standard of living.
actually, I don’t think it will happen.
IF IT ONLY WENT TO ACTUAL AMERICAN CITIZENS -—I WOULD APPROVE
2,000 won’t change someone’s standard of living. However, $700B would have a material impact on the deficit.

Our debt of $$$39 trillion is mathematically impossible to pay off.
$2000 to citizens could be used for gun ammo ,protection, readiness purchases, prepping to reduce dependence on .gov. $2K if spent wisely could easily purchase a month or more of freeze dried goods, water prep, basics as to not “ burden” .gov in tornadoes, hurricanes, emergencies.
Prepared citizens do not loot, riot and steal.
“$2,000 won’t change someone’s standard of living.”
But it can make them more comfortable this winter.
