I have always had dogs, but I would like to have a bobcat.

Neither?
Yeah, I’m just not a pet person.
My parents had nine kids. The last thing they needed was another mouth to feed. So I never had ‘em, never cared for’em.

It’s just too bad they won’t use a litter box.

I love dogs, but these are some nice little friends who live in my house with me.

we had an old english sheepdog and durign the winter my sister’s cat had kittens, and they would burrow into the dog’s long fur to stay warm while the mother cat was off hunting- or whatever they do when they leave the house lol

I am a dog person, but I have known some great cats, so I will give them their due.

1. Dogs are legally actionable. You can be sued or arrested for your dog’s behavior.
2. Dogs can kill people, especially children.
3. People don’t shoot each other over cats.

The title is stupid. Whichever one is “better” is subjective and a matter of opinion for each person or family.
We love both, but never had a dog as they seem more high maintenance than cats.
Our hearts broke every time we lost a cat.

Dogs are great.....but cats are also great in different ways. Way lower maintenance than dogs - never have to let out to pee or take for a walk. They keep critters away from the house - my house was tree rat central until the little stray cat that we have since adopted showed up - now the little varmints keep to the trees and don’t destroy things anymore (they ate the boots off the vent pipes, causing thousands of dollars in water damage. Not any more - she’ll go up on the roof to get them if she sees them.)

I like them both. People usually choose the critter that suits themselves and their lifestyle the best.
