Yeah, don’t get me started... Too late!
Now I’m reliving the... discussions... from years ago :-)
“Yes, but we love the coffee shop around the corner... and the park nearby.... and the great restaurant... and....”
I pulled up some places in Ft Wayne and pointed out there seemed to be plenty of similar stuff nearby AND you’d be saving so much money that you could probably afford monthly trips back to these MUST GO places!
Of course, that’s when my wife punched me and told me to stop trying to convince them to move 3-4 hours away!
Fair point by her, I guess. Now, making me sleep on the couch until I went to a grocery store in Ft Wayne for the shopping list? I think that was a bit much :-)
But I do think eventually you will start seeing people move to those kinds of places, especially if they can work remotely.
