GENESEO, Ill. (KWQC) - A Davenport woman was arrested after police said she was found inside the walls of a Geneseo business.
Caleigh A. Gottsche, 26, of Davenport was arrested and charged with:
Burglary, Felony criminal damage to property, Criminal Trespass to property
Gottsche was taken to the Henry County Jail. Police told KWQC they are looking for two more people.
A business owner in the 100 block of South State Street reported hearing a loud noise from the ceiling or attic area of their business around 5:30 p.m., according to a media release from the Geneseo Police Department.
Officers searched the business and heard a noise but couldn’t find where it came from, officials said, and left the business before 6 p.m.
Around ten minutes later, the owner reported hearing more suspicious noises from a different area of the business. Officers came back and started checking both the caller’s business and other businesses in the same block, officials said.
While searching officers said they heard whispering and movement coming from inside structure areas around them.
Around 6:30 p.m., officers were able to talk to Gottsche who was between the interior walls of a business and firefighters were able to safely get her out from between the walls.
Police learned multiple businesses in the South State Street area had damaged potential access points on their shared roofs.
A KWQC crew on scene said the road was blocked off with barriers between second and first street and there were several fire trucks as of about 10:30 p.m.

I don't even want to know whatever that is on her face that she was inhaling.
I say Guilty! The only question I have is, Would Laz hit it?
Not exactly a criminal mastermind
Dusted for fingerprints?
She might clean up ok.
Looks like somebody rubbed her nose in the dirt.
Did she tunnel in? Looks like...dirt. 😁
Dirt “freckles”, one extra set of eyebrows,
Earth Zombie Hair.
“This is not how it looks! I was looking to meet a friend and my GPS gave me obsolete directions. Nothing more. Has that never, ever happened to you?”
Huffing paint?
Gotta be an easier way to make a living…….
Where are the hot/crazy Matrix? Tiffany?
I have spent time in that town—and there’s nothing there worth doing this over.
Ding, dong, fall,
Pussy’s in the wall.
Who put her in?
Little Johnny Flynn.
Who pulled her out?
Little Tommy Stout.
What a naughty boy was that,
to try to trap poor pussy cat,
who never did him any harm,
but killed all the mice in the farmer’s barn.
And yet her mascara (or false eyelashes) is perfect!
It worked on Hogan’s Heroes - “The Great Brinksmeyer Robbery.”
I guess they had to use a torch to cut her out.
She'd prolly clean up real good...

Lol. I know the town fairly well, about an hour from where I lived my first 62 years. Back in the 60s and early 70s the high school football team had a 52 game win streak, before IL had high school football playoffs. The mascot name: Maple Leafs.
Looks like the county saved money and had the local 6th graders make the height chart.
