What is controversial about that?
Globalists and neocons want their party back and want to go back to being the party of Bush.

I'm borrowing a random chart which can be a stand-in for this situation. As I see it, the level of global anti-semitism was probably somewhat level up until Oct 7, 2023. Then, after the massacre of Jews by Palestinian animals, the level of anti-semitism in the world skyrocketed to a sort of maximum level and it has remained there for 2 years.
Make it make sense.
Nowadays things move fast.
A lot has happened on this issue since the article was published.
National Review has covered it reasonably well:
2 aspects to this: The practical and the ideological.
The Practical: The Left massively harbors anti-semites of various types. If we also appear to harbor those who appear to be anti-semites the ring of Nazi, Hitler will have a lot of validity in voters minds in a negative way. We will have lost the edge that we are/appear better than the left on this issue.
The ideological: The MAGA coalition is agreed on the 2d amendment and not much else. The next closest area of agreement is support for Israel. Pro-life is the 3d closest area of MAGA agreement. But almost all Pro-lifers make little distinction between Biblical support for Israel and Biblical support for life.
MAGA is agreed on deportation of (both legal and illegal) immigrants who are DUI drivers, Drunk n Disorderly or worse. We are not agreed on deportation of illegals who work an honest job, take care of their family and sit beside us in church.
On tariffs, there are many Club For Growth free traders who are nervous about tariffs. The negative impact is not as bad as feared and scare mongered. So that division is MAGA is not as big as it was a few months ago.
Trump has been very non-isolationist and successful about negotiating an end to the many “small” wars around the globe. Success breeds unity where there might have been division.
“Roberts began by saying, “Christians can critique the state of Israel without being antisemitic”
Heresy! If you ever say the slightest disapproving things about the Israeli government...you care clearly a nazi. It couldn’t be that you disapprove of bribing half of Congress, an underage sex blackmail operation aimed at our leaders, refusing to extradite pedophiles etc.
There is a deranged hysteria if you oppose anything their government does.
That headline is complete nonsense. I am like 98 percent of MAGA voters; Heritage has had nothing to do whatsoever with me forming my opinion of Trump and MAGA. I don’t care what kind of statements its leaders make.
This whole argument of anti-semitism is getting tired. Anti-semitism has all the hallmarks of a propaganda term. Some people, and especially on this site, act as if anti-semitism is a separate evil from all others, requiring repeated and constant condemnation. Let me ask: What kind of racial/ethnic prejudice against any other group has a name and carries the same degree of scorn that anti-semitism connotes? Racial prejudice is out here in the world, it has always been here and will always be here.
I saw that guy that Tucker interviewed on another video. I was a bit surprised and wondered how he has gotten that much attention. He has nothing. I could go to some biker bar and hear better thinking.
Zionists are going all out to cancel anyone who dare questions Israel and the US relationship with it. I guess that means they will be canceling most millennials and all of Gen Z because younger conservatives don’t like Israel. Tucker is the most popular political pundit out there and can’t be canceled. And Candace is almost as popular as Tucker. Their opinions are just a reflection of what their audience believes and wants to hear. It’s mostly only boomers and evangelicals that still support Israel. It use to be you had to be pro Israel to run as a Republican but that is changing fast. You can’t win elections if you only cater to boomers. Notice how JD Vance didn’t criticize those young Republicans. He knows which way the political winds are blowing. Going forward being too pro Israel could be detrimental to one’s campaign and Vance knows it.
Here we go again. More infighting while the left laughs.
Is this really a thing?
Remember Trump’s first campaign? How his being rich meant he wasn’t beholden to donors?
How times have changed.
What’s going on at Heritage right now is almost indistinguishable from a BLM-style struggle session.
