This article is a reprint from The Nation, an avowedly Communist organization. They are cheering on socialism but worrying if it doesn’t go well, it will set back socialists all across America. This article deserves a BARF indicator.

Agreed. Laughably the article refers to the “ruling class” as those against socialism. It’s the opposite. Socialism always empowers the ruling class to rule even harder.

I don’t understand their concern. The historical successes of Communism is so well documented they need not be worried about how it will play out in NYC.

Socialism never goes well but socialists will always promise that the NEXT TIME it is tried, it will be wonderful. That is one of their biggest lies and stupid people always believe it.
