Virginia had a Republican state executive branch…Governor et al. all flipped.
Virginia? Is that a suburb of DC? Populated by feral government employees?
its a purple state..nationally, its a Blue state. No surprise.
That reversal began when the useless fool in the governor's mansion here was listening to the "Youngkin is a 2024 dark horse" whispers instead of fighting hard to keep the legislature Republican in the 2023 midterms. Once he lost them, he then decided his top priority should be building a $2 billion sports complex in northern Virginia that no one but his RINO consultants and lobbyists wanted.
After that idea went down in flames, Youngkin figured the best way he could spend the remainder of his time in Richmond was to do absolutely nothing to help his Lt. Governor in her race to succeed him. Not that the RNC did anything either, but as I posted last night, they've been off the clock since President Trump's victory speech and need a complete housecleaning. Youngkin is here and could have done something including resigning and getting an ambassadorship to East Jabip which would have allowed Winsome-Sears take over and show what she could do, good or bad. But nope, he's just playing Candy Crush and waiting for noon on January 17 when he can fade into more obscurity.
