The original structure was built in the 9th c out of a structure built during the Roman Empire. There were other building phases. The first earthquake damage that caused it to be yellow-taped (as it were) was in the 14th c. It was restored a few hundred years later, then damaged and repaired at least once more in the 17th c. I was used quite a bit during the 20th and early 21st century.

Thank you. Wow. 9th century, I was thing in the low teens. It’s old.

Well, its a shame and it’s a shame a guy died. i read one person said he was six months from retirement.
