Blue Jays analyst swears on camera and dismisses Dodgers' epic World Series win
Daily Mail Sports ^ | 11-2-25 | Daniel Matthews

Posted on 11/02/2025 6:35:36 AM PST by MarlonRando

'It's going to sound like sour grapes and I don't really give a s*** but I think the better team did not win this series... you just feel like the baseball Gods got it wrong this time.'

He added: 'I think the Blue Jays are the better team and I feel like they played baseball a certain way that was infectious, that grabbed the attention of the fans. 'And it's disheartening to see that the better team did not win. That's not to take anything away from the Dodgers but the Blue Jays did so many things right.'

IMHO, their timid baserunning cost them the Series, at least twice.

Or just stupid baserunning, like George Springer thinking it was ball 4 on Guerrero and SLOWING DOWN during a steal, and getting doubled up. Rookie mistake from a former MVP and world champion, and the entire team did that throughout the series.

They are crazy expensive. Here are Geddy and Alex talking about the tour and Geddy mentions the scalping and high prices:

“Japan won.”

They could earn a little good favor using their hundreds of millions to learn conversational English. Yuck.

“ Except hit with runners in scoring position in games 6 and 7.”

Oh hit WITH

I thought you said Except hit runners in scoring position in games 6 and 7. As in hit the batters

Former MLB catcher-turned Blue Jays analyst Caleb Joseph

    His argument is irrational.
  1. The Blue Jays are an exceptional team.
  2. The Dodgers defeated this exceptional team, twice in Toronto, twice in extra innings.
  3. Therefore the Dodgers are not also an exceptional team that earned the victory.
  4. Oh, and Caleb worships idols. There are no baseball gods except idols.

“ The best World Series in decades, if not ever. Sour grapes spoils it. Both teams are to be congratulated on a well-played and exciting series.”

It was great baseball. Resilience and professionalism on both sides. Great playing

I only watched highlights on YT. The Fox News one is less than 9 minutes, and the fielding on both sides was spectacular for the most part, and it went to extra innings, that's how well matched it was. Oh, and the Dodgers scored more runs. They did that three other times.

Bottom line, BJ’s did not get clutch hits in game 7. Games’s most expensive team won. case closed.

After seeing the Tedeschi-Trucks band in concert (with Buddy Guy) recently, I was excited to hear the Little River Band was on tour. However, I passed when I saw there were no original members performing. Very disappointing.

Baseball gods don’t exist, so, yea, maybe “they” need Jesus in Toronto.

“How do you “fix” baseball?”

How? Damned easy, really. Miss a catch, throw certain pitches, strike out. Are you just pulling our leg and being sarcastic?

“They’ll be arguing over the ‘dead ball’ for years and whether or not Smith’s spike was on home plate.”

Yes. The dead ball will not maintain legitimacy over time and it seems modern technology could quickly determine the call at home plate.
