Dodgers leading 3 to 1 in Toronto in the bottom of the ninth inning.
The first batter was hit by a pitch and goes to first.
The second batter hits the ball into left center field and neither outfielder could catch it.
The ball rolls all the way to the wall and gets lodged underneath the wall.
The Dodger outfielders point to the ball—obviously wanting the umpire to declare it a dead ball.
Meanwhile both Toronto runners rounded the bases and scored.
So—either the game is tied 3 to 3 (live ball) or it is 3 to 1 Dodgers with runners on second or third (dead ball).
The Dodgers retired the next two hitters (the second one in a double play) and the Dodgers were declared the winner of the game 3-1.
Imho the umpires made the wrong call—fwiw.
