There is no such thing as transgender youth, only mentally ill children and the people who take advantage of them to further their own twisted ideology and/or to make money.
i think there may be a problem after the government first sanctioned, supported and even encouraged these children to get cut. It will be a legal fight now if you suddenly then stop funding their care.

This “gender affirming” care crap is damnable, straight from the pits of Hell. Awful thing to do to someone, even worse when it’s an innocent child.
There are only a few rare cases where hormones or puberty blockers should be used.
Children with CAH or NCCAH need puberty blockers to slow their systems down; otherwise, they can suffer from stunted growth, early menstral cycles, and other issues.
Boys with Klinefelters need testoterone because they have XYY chromosomes and their bodies don’t produce enough.
Girls with Turner’s (X/X + partial X) need estrogen because their bodies down produce enough.
Boys with Swyers (X/damaged Y) may need surgery because they are born with a vagina, not a penis.
Other than that or a case of ambiguous genitalia / hermaphrodite, there is no medical reason to operate / feed hormones to a child.

We disagree there... No male should ever get any medical support to be female and vice versa.
No taxpayer funding period and no insurance should ever cover it because you end up paying when they do through your premiums.

It’s protecting minors who are easily manipulated by the perverse - “gender-affirming car” isn’t medicine - it’s the purposeful implementation of severe hormone imbalances and destructive surgeries that cannot be undone....it’s why “trans” folks have such a high suicide rate...they know they made a terrible mistake and don’t want to live like that, but it cannot be undone.
I’ve said all along, this is not gender “affiriming” care.
If you’re born a male, then you would “affirm” your gender, by acting as a male.
If that male acts as a female, that would be gender “denying”.
