Some Heritage Foundation staffers are speaking up about a controversial video its president, Kevin Roberts, released on Thursday.
After Tucker Carlson released his friendly interview of white nationalist Nick Fuentes, there were calls for Heritage, which has made a show of allying itself with Carlson, to disavow the former Fox News host.
Instead, Roberts released a video defending both Carlson and Fuentes.
“We will always defend truth, we will always defend America, and we will always defend our friends against the slander of bad actors who serve someone else’s agenda. That includes Tucker Carlson, who remains – and as I have said before, always will be – a close friend of the Heritage Foundation. The venomous coalition attacking him are sowing division. Their attempt to cancel him will fail,” declared Roberts. “The American people expect us to be focusing on our political adversaries on the left, not attacking our friends on the right. I disagree with, and even abhor, things that Nick Fuentes says, but canceling him is not the answer either. When we disagree with a person’s thoughts and opinions, we challenge those ideas in debate, and we have seen success in this approach as we continue to dismantle the vile ideas of the left.”
Some Heritage employees are not being shy about expressing their disagreement with Roberts’s sentiments.

Richard Stern, the director of Heritage’s economic policy institute and federal budget center, retweeted Brashers and added that it was “Evidently, a truth that is never more than one generation away from being forgotten.”

Brashers’ tweet was also shared by Heritage staffers Jason Bedrick, Jay Greene, and John Peluso.
Bedrick also retweeted a post from The Babylon Bee’s Joel Berry, submitting that “The Pagan Right’s call for ‘unity’ is the call of a murderer demanding his victim stop struggling.”
Another Heritage director, Jay Richards, did not directly subtweet his boss, but did express his disagreement with his argument prior to the release of Roberts’s video.
“Almost seems like it’s a coordinated effort to destroy the conservative coalition. And even if it’s not coordinated, the effect is the same,” mused Richards in response to another anti-Carlson/Fuentes post from Berry.

I’ve never seem him say he supports Hamas. He describes himself as being pro-white so I don’t think he particularly supports any group that is non white including Hamas. He’s just a bit too racial in some of his takes for my taste. But his generation will be the first one where whites will be a minority and Fuentes came of age where the Left (many of whom were Jews) were attacking whites so I can kind of see where he is coming from.

Fuentes is not merely anti-Israel. He is outright anti-Jew.
I make no such claim, I am just providing a plausible alternative, that counters your claim that if he didn't agree with what Fuentes said, that he would have spoken up, but because he didn't that means he agreed with what Fuentes said, provided as proof that Tucker inedeed agrred with Fuentes.
Sorry, it doesn't. Perhaps you can contact Tucker and get him to personally publicly admit that he agreed with Fuesntes. That would then be irrefutable proof, in my eyes at any rate.
Nick Fuentes is NOT gay and Tucker apologized for calling him that. And we know that Fuentes is NOT gay because he keeps screaming that out from his closet. "NOT GAY!!!"

Fuentes supports the “Traditionalist Catholic” view that rejects the Nostra Aetate, the papal document that declared that modern Jews bear no guilt for the death of Christ. In a March 2024 Telegram post, Fuentes wrote that he and his followers “rightly defend the traditional Catholic view,” blaming Jews for “crucifying our Lord.”
During his livestream of President Trump’s inauguration in 2025, Fuentes said he believes Jews are in the way of the “sovereignty” of the U.S., that they are the “most influential faction in our government” and that Trump is “captured by this Israel lobby.” In a March 2023 livestream episode, Fuentes stated, “I think the Holocaust is exaggerated. I don’t hate Hitler. I think there’s a Jewish conspiracy. I believe in race realism.”

The funniest part of the Tucker Carlson interview was him apologizing to Fuentes for calling him GAY. ...And then asking him in a roundabout way why he wasn't married. So, yeah, Carlson still thinks he is GAY.

Nothing new here. Roberts has been trying to rebrand and reorient Heritage into a more populist stance since he got that job. I assume he got marching orders to do that from somewhere/one.
My uncle was an investigator for the war crimes trials. My family had his notes, personal photos taken on one of those old Brownies, etc*. The Jew haters that you speak of would likely go orgasmic from that movie and my uncle’s pics & notes. A long look at those pics, etc followed by some honest thinking would explain instantly why Israel & Jews react the way they do. Just put yourself in their place - walk a mile in their yalmuke.

From what you gather, did you not watch the debate? If not, you are not learning truth from different angles. What is more important than silencing those you oppose, is listening and learning.
Then Nazi party was bad. Were the Nazi soldiers bad? Is it now that the Germans were bad, all bad and still bad? What they did was no different than what the US Cavalry did to Native Americans. Put them in camps, killed men, women and children. Killed their food source, and when they were done, moved them onto reservations. Of course, if there was valuable resources under those reservations, they were moved once again.
Americans didn’t do this, but the people in the Dept of Interior, and the War department did, and they were Americans.
Kirk didn’t want anyone to even debate Fuentes because he despised the guy so much
