Chapter and verse on that. The Mosaic law was wrote on papyrus but the Ten Commandments were wrote on stone. Stone is not to be nailed. Stone signifies permanence and God has a copy in Heaven.

The Law, was fulfilled by Christ's sacrifice. There is no other sacrifice for sin needed.
