“Those fine, upstanding citizens” —> those are your words, not mine. I’ve not called them anything but a couple who were allegedly Bulgarian (another poster said not to trust the authorities, so then we need to use the word “allegedly”).
Why do you think they were “fine, upstanding citizens”? On what basis you say they were (or weren’t) based on verifiable facts about who they were (we don’t even have definitive proof of who these people were - if we discount the police statements)
” She was not robbing them or harassing’s them.”
—> True
“The “adults” held the key to de-escalation.”
—> Possibly, but again, we don’t know what happened before the video started.
” The principal fact was that she only wanted them to leave her and her sister alone.” —> We know that she said that.
” These citizens of the year would have no part of that.” — we have only police information that they were legal residents, not citizens. And there is nothing about “citizens of the year”. As to why the man (camera holder) kept saying “show me what you have behind your back” - was that escalation or did they want to capture that they had deadly weapons in her hands?
Note that even a 12 year old girl can do pretty good damage with a hatchet (whether in self defense or not)
Did you think about when and why she had a hatchet and knife on her person?
We don’t know when she got them or why - we only know that she had them on her when the video started.
We don’t know if, before the video the man was the one “encroaching upon her” or the other way around or if all were in the same place - literally nothing about what occurred before the video starts.
Let’s look at previous speculations about this incident:
1. she was assaulted - the police said the CCTV shows nothing. Of course, we can discount what the cops say, but then we have nothing to confirm or deny this allegation
2. “The man involved was an illegal immigrant” — the media and the cops say that he was/is a legal resident from Bulgaria
3. “The girl was hospitalized from an attack”
- Social media posts alleged that one of the girls was hospitalized after being attacked. No official reports from Police Scotland, media, or hospital records have corroborated this claim. Nothing.
We have pure speculation here - making up theories gains us nothing without more details
” 350,000 girls are verified to have been trafficked and the unofficial numbers are over a million.”
Where do you get that 350K number???
the Jay Report in 2014 found an estimated 1,400 victims of child sexual exploitation in Rotherham over 16 years.
THAT is the only verified number we have.
Where did you get your numbers from?
I didn’t defend anyone.
All I said was that we have speculation here.
You are saying “illegal invaders” when the media, the police both say that the person filming was/is a legal resident.
What illegal invader is involved in this incident?
And where have I defended (or attacked for that matter) UK authorities?
you’re the only one rushing to the defence of migrant rape gangs, right? And you are accused of being a globalist communist supporting China and Russia, is that true?
Sadly.
As I point out, there is speculation around.
Now the guy who filmed also made his statement - I don’t believe or disbelieve him as we don’t have enough facts either way, but https://www.thecourier.co.uk/fp/news/5323284/dundee-knife-incident-reporting-the-facts/
here is what he said
“Mr Dumana also explains why he recorded a video of the incident, which has gone viral across the globe since being uploaded online.
He said: “At about 7pm on Saturday, I was going to the shop when four girls passed by and started shouting offensive things at me.
“I tried to ignore them and carried on my way, but they continued.
“I couldn’t quite get everything that they were saying as they were talking very fast, but it was nothing nice.
“So I stopped and went back simply to ask what their problem with me is and why they came bothering me.
“That was the moment one of them picked up her phone and started telling someone – presumably the police – that a grown man is following them and asking them for sexual things.
“I started recording it all to have proof – I was doing nothing of the sort and she was lying, and I wanted that on the record.
“At the same time, the other girl started making such a scene that would put Hollywood to shame, shouting at me, ‘Why are you following us? We are little’.
“I once again repeated I was doing no such thing, it was them who stopped me to cause a problem.
“Suddenly, two of the girls started talking among themselves, giving the impression that they were planning to take a swing at me.”
He says there was then a physical confrontation between one of the girls and his sister, which led to him pushing one of the youngsters away.
Mr Dumana adds: “I’ve told all of this to the police.
“I did this for our safety, I had to do something – and the officers agreed with that.”
Now I don’t believe or disbelieve him either way - and I don’t think anyone should file this as any more than a statement made by the man who filmed it.
But this is a different view of what happened.
In the article we get a resident saying
“Joanne Wodkowska, who owns Desert Rose second-hand clothing shop on Lochee High Street, says: “When I first came to Dundee, it was nice, everyone was really good.
“But my son is nine and he doesn’t want to go out and play in the park because the young ones are causing trouble there.
“He doesn’t want to go out and play.””
Again, a statement by someone that doesn’t really give any “hard evidence”.
So all I’m saying - don’t jump to conclusions when we have really next to no verifiable information, just speculation
Roma are white?
I’ve lived around them (in Suddeutschland - Bayern). If they’re white, I’m transparent by comparison.
Are Romany people white?
As curated by AI:
The classification of Romani people as “white” is complex and involves both official categorization and lived experience. In the United Kingdom, the British government classifies Romani people as part of the “White” ethnic group in its official statistics, specifically under “White: Gypsy/Traveller” or “White: Other”. This categorization is used for census and administrative purposes, and the 2021 census reported that 71.8% of Romani people in England and Wales identified as Christian, compared to 46.2% of the wider population, reflecting their integration into the broader white demographic in official data.
However, this official classification does not reflect the full reality of Romani identity and experience. Romani people are widely recognized as a distinct ethnic group with origins in the Indian subcontinent, and they are considered a People of Colour (POC) by many within the community and by scholars. The term “white” is often seen as problematic and potentially erasing the racialized experiences of Romani people, particularly those with darker skin tones. The concept of “uncertain whiteness” describes how Romani people are simultaneously accepted and rejected as “white” in British society, making them an “invisible minority” who are often overlooked in discussions of racial discrimination despite facing systemic racism, known as anti-Romanyism or antigypsyism.
While some Romani individuals may appear phenotypically white due to a mix of South Asian and European ancestry, this does not negate their ethnic identity or the discrimination they face. Many Romani people, regardless of skin tone, experience marginalization and are not treated as white in practice. The Romani diaspora has a long history of persecution, including during the Holocaust, and continues to face prejudice and social exclusion. Therefore, while Romani people are officially categorized as white in the UK, their lived experience and self-identification are deeply tied to a distinct ethnic identity that is separate from the white majority.

Though note that these are two separate stories. We haven’t heard any updates on the girl’s case since September.

Indeed.
I just noticed that the article that the X post refers to, doesn't actually say they are gypsies

Grooming gang jailed for raping 10 women
A Romanian grooming gang led by a "winking, smirking pimp" have been jailed for raping and sexually abusing 10 women in flats across Dundee.
The four men and one woman plied their victims - aged between 16 and 30 - with drugs at various properties between 2021 and 2022.
Ringleader Marian Cumpanasoiu, 38, along with Remus Stan, 35, Cristian Urlateanu, 41, Catalin Dobre, 45, and Alexandra Bugonea, 35, were previously convicted of 30 charges at the High Court in Glasgow.
Cumpanasoiu was sentenced to 24 years, Urlateanu to 20 years, Stan to 12 years, Dobre to 10 years and Bugonea to eight years.
Rotherham was not the only place that girls were being trafficked. It was happening all across the United Kingdom.
There is no definitive or comprehensive national figure for the total number of girls sexually groomed by gangs across the United Kingdom, as official data is fragmented, inconsistent, and severely under-reported due to systemic failures in recording, victim disclosure (only about 7% report at the time of abuse), and inconsistent definitions of “group-based child sexual exploitation” (CSE). Independent inquiries and police operations have identified thousands of victims in specific cases, predominantly girls aged 11–17 who were targeted through grooming tactics like the “boyfriend model” (building false relationships to enable abuse, trafficking, and coercion via drugs, alcohol, or threats). Broader estimates for all forms of child sexual abuse suggest around 500,000 children (mostly girls) are affected annually in the UK, but this includes non-gang-related abuse and is not specific to grooming gangs.
The most reliable data comes from major independent inquiries into localized scandals, which have documented over 3,000 victims across 14 prominent cases (detailed below). These figures are conservative estimates, as they focus on identified victims in prosecuted or investigated rings, and do not account for unreported cases or overlaps between locations. Recent efforts, such as the Grooming Gangs Taskforce, identified and protected over 4,000 victims in a single 12-month period ending in 2023, indicating the ongoing scale. Extrapolated national totals (e.g., claims of 250,000–1 million victims) have been widely debunked as unreliable, often based on flawed scaling from single cases like Rotherham without accounting for under-reporting or definitional issues.
### Known Victims from Major Grooming Gang Cases
The table below summarizes victims from key independent inquiries, all involving predominantly or exclusively girls. These cases span the 1980s–2010s and highlight patterns of organized abuse by groups (often 5–20 perpetrators) in northern and midland England.
| Location | Time Period | Estimated Victims (Girls) | Key Details |
|-—————————|-———————|-—————————————|-——————|
| Rotherham | 1997–2013 | 1,400 | Largest known case; gangs trafficked girls to other towns for abuse; Operation Stovewood has identified 1,100+ victims to date. |
| Telford | 1980s–2010s | 1,000 | Multi-decade scandal; up to 1 in 6 girls in the area affected; failures in social services. |
| Oxford | 2008–2013 | 373 | Gangs used taxis/hotels; victims as young as 11; 7 men convicted. |
| Peterborough | 2009–2012 | 100 | 23 victims identified in one ring; others estimated. |
| Rochdale | 2008–2012 | 47 | Nine men convicted; sparked national attention to grooming tactics. |
| Manchester | 2008–2011 | 30 | Victims aged 13–16; linked to broader Greater Manchester operations (317 known victims total since 2022). |
| Huddersfield | 2000–2011 | 27 | 20 men convicted across 5 trials; victims as young as 11. |
| Derby | 2009–2011 | 25 | Seven men convicted; “boyfriend model” grooming. |
| Newcastle | 2010–2012 | 22 | 17 men/1 woman convicted; parties used for abuse. |
| Bristol | 2009–2011 | 20 | 13 men convicted; Somali-background gang. |
| Aylesbury | 2008–2013 | 20 | Six men convicted; Afghan/Pakistani backgrounds. |
| Halifax | 2004–2011 | 11 | Four men convicted. |
| Keighley | 2003–2004 | 11 | Early case; five men convicted. |
| Banbury | 2010–2013 | 10 | Five men convicted. |
| **Total (Known Cases)** | **1980s–2013** | **~3,096** | Conservative sum; excludes unreported cases and recent operations (e.g., 922 victims in West Yorkshire, 2020–2024). |
These cases represent only documented scandals, primarily in England (no major equivalents in Scotland, Wales, or Northern Ireland in the data). The 2025 Casey Audit emphasized that poor data collection—such as missing ethnicity details for two-thirds of perpetrators—prevents a full national picture, but noted disproportionate involvement of Asian (especially Pakistani-heritage) men in hotspots like Greater Manchester, South Yorkshire, and West Yorkshire. Victims were often from vulnerable backgrounds (e.g., in care, with prior trauma), and 78% of identified group-based CSE victims are girls. A national inquiry was announced in June 2025 to address these gaps.
Called that one....
“There is no evidence from official investigations supporting the claim that she was targeted for “not allowing herself to be raped” ...”
Of course there is ‘no evidence’ - what public official with a 3-digit IQ is going to say or write something like that down.
OTOH there are lots of democrats here that would say that but I lay that off to not having a 3-digit IQ.

The table you gives says “total known cases 3,096”
That is 1% of the “350,000 girls are verified to have been trafficked” you alleged.
So, where did you get the “350,000 girls are verified to have been trafficked” — you said specifically “ARE VERIFIED”
You’re making up stuff. I’m not irritated that she had or hadn’t whatever.
All I’m saying, as I’ve said before - we have no facts beyond the video. The rest is pure speculation as of now
He is not doing any of what you accuse him of doing. He is just pointing out the obvious fact that there is unfortunately very little verifiable information released about the case.
I cannot help but notice that the “freepers” arguing with him because they think there is more than enough information about the case even if almost none of it is verifiable, might have some difficulty comprehending what he is actually saying. At least 2 of the folks arguing with him and putting words into his mouth appear to be using English as their second language.
