Freepers, what's more important to you: immigration reform or education reform?

Obviously both are important and require a massive shift away from the status-quo, but if you had to pick one, which is more critical for the well-being of America?

I'd personally think immigration reform is slightly more important, but understand if that's not as critical to some others.

Immigration. They’re in our schools taking away the rights of our children to receive a good education an not dumbed down as it is now because of non English speaking students.

The idea that we have to choose between these in nonsense. Failing to solve either one will destroy us.

Its like asking in WW2.. which is more important, defeating the Germans or defeating the Japanese?

Immigration reform, once we vet rid of these criminals education will naturally improve simply because it will no longer be geared to their intelligence level.

Both are vitally important for the survival of the US, but immigration reform is more urgently needed. Education reform can come later.

Immigration is a crucial and do-able one in the short term and saves money that we don’t have immediately. It is akin to “Stop digging the hole”. The benefits are immediate.

Education reform will take far longer and require more knife fighting and consensus, IMO. That said, there is no reason to ignore it. We can chip away at that one.

enforcement would have been a more appropriate term to use on my part.

Thanks for the clarification.

The two departments involved, Education and Homeland Security, are autonomous and can function independently without a need for prioritization in the functions of either.

Your query is non applicable and a false dichotomy. Both can be accomplished simultaneously.

JMO, YMMV

We don’t need any immigration reform, we just need to deport them all, so I will say education reform.

One is possible to do...
The other (indoctrination) is not possible to do...

The only major action that will both help save the planet’s environment and cause a massive hiccup in the indoctrination system would be to totally eliminate (in the crushers) all school buses...
