@RepThomasMassie
🥩 How is it that Congress is in recess, the lights are turned out, and the doors are locked, yet I can post a five minute speech on why we need Country of Origin Labels for beef?
Because I gave this speech 10 years ago!

RE: Country of origin labels
Yes, the WTO Ruled the US cannot do it!
WTH!
Maybe we can incorporate “beef” into the names of the appropriate states and then claim copyright on the term.
Sorta like what they do with wines like champagne, burgundy, etc.
America has always been the Bread Basket of the world. Now we import veggies as Californicate has outlawed water to teh ag industry. We import Mexican veggies sprayed with whatever chemical they want to use there.
Now since we are destroying the meat industry here we will be importing more meat laced with whatever they use like Growth hormones.

Back when you weren’t such an insufferable idjit, mASSie.
Massie, the grand standing pro amnesty shill, is suddenly concerned about protecting American borders — only related to the cows. Lol.
Yes, why are companies or commie world organizations against telling us where our food is coming from?
Has anyone noticed what is going on with avocados?
I have left a cut one out on the counter and it didn’t turn brown at all. It was hard and squishy and I came across this:

The half I ate had no flavor and the texture wasn’t avocado-y. And it was ripened.
What a Massiehole.
America needs to be as self-sufficient in agriculture as possible, except for crops that cannot be grown here, e.g., coffee and pineapples (Hawaii excepted). That means in part truth in labeling. Unless you seek out organic meat from a local vendor, usually at a higher cost, there is no assurance that you will buy American raised meat. We have no control over what is produced in Brazil, Argentina, Canada, or Australia.
Its part of the NAFTA agreement just like Mexican trucks coming through the US without having to adhere to our truck regulations.
The WTO and their corporate buddies can go pound sand.
Amazing. Had no idea. The notion it can supersede the law and constitution of the US is crazy
It is the law. Your Congress voted for NAFTA. Likely Rand Paul voted for it. Go ask him.
Not me and Rand would never vote for it
🙄
If something like that came up , he would not vote for it and neither does Massie
They’re very consistent on these issues
