The Nazi Party Member Who Secretly Saved Over 7,000 Jews
History Collection ^ | July 28, 2017 | Patrick Lynch

World War II is laden with unsung heroes, and Georg Ferdinand Duckwitz certainly falls into that category. While the remarkable deeds of people like Oskar Schindler are well known, Duckwitz’s role in saving 7,000 Jews in Denmark is less so. He was one of those brave Germans that looked to damage the Nazi Party’s plans from within and risked his own life out of a desire to do the right thing.

Thank you very much and God bless you.

I came across this story by accident, and decided to post it as a counter-balance to all the depressing news out there.

That was a point of national pride in Denmark in the past. Now the Danish feminists are advocates of Jew hating moslem immigration.

Really cool story. I have looked into some of those listed as Righteous Among Nations by Yad Vashem over the years but have found that I could spend the rest of my life studying about them and barely scratch the surface. There were many stories of self-sacrifice by even Nazi party members such as this; it is good to see they are not all forgotten.

Terrific story, which I hadn’t heard before. The right man in the right place. Blessings on him.

Wny on earth would Danish feminists be supporting Musllm immigration unless it was to support those Muslims, especially the women, trying to escape from the Muslim male abuse. Perhaps supporters of people like Ayan Hirshi Ali (sp?) whose book Infidel described her life in Somalia and Saudi Arabia before she escaped to Europe where she entered politics and rejected Islam. Given danger to her life, she was subsequently invited to the US to live by a conservative group. Read the book if you want to better understand the effect of Islam on many aspects of life.
