Discussing ongoing U.S. strikes against alleged drug smugglers, Sen. Todd Young (R-Ind.) called for lawmakers to assert congressional authority over when the U.S. uses armed force — and work to bring unauthorized conflicts to a close altogether.
At today’s Axios Future of Defense Summit, Sen. Young complained the Trump administration was not giving lawmakers enough information about its ongoing offensive against so-called “narco-terrorists,” in the Caribbean sea near Venezuela (though Secretary of Defense Hegseth said that the military had struck a suspected drug carrying vessel in the “East Pacific” on Tuesday. It was the eighth vessel struck since September in the ongoing campaign.)

I listened to his BS commercials back in the 20-teens bragging about his military career, his family values and fiscal responsibility so I thought “good guy-military, family oriented, conservative” and voted for him in his re-election against others, including republican candidates.
I kid you not within a short time I watched in horror as Todd Young voted for Biden’s 1. gay marriage act 2. The 1.9 TRILLION dollar American Rescue Plan and then more to follow. I suspect he could out-RINO Mitt.
After literally 100,000s of young Americans dying from smuggled drugs I’m still amazed he would oppose these strikes in international waters on clearly suspicious craft. IMO
Congressmen getting worried about their side income. Literally.
That’s because some Congressturds will leak the info to the cartels.
Of course if you'd rather see these drugs killing our sons and daughters...well....that's your view.

Along with Rand Paul. I would ask them both, what is wrong with protecting US borders, land and maritime.
I’m sure the cartels are anxiously reaching out to Congress with dollars dangling, in search of info on these strikes, to evade them.
If he looked hard enough, he could still find his fentanyl.
I’m surprised Sgt. Hakeem Potatohead and Chef Raw Cheeseburger Shoemer haven’t bought some armed dinghys to provide an escort to the Cartel’s fentanyl drug runners.

These are short-fuse missions. A boat is detected, it's tracked for a while, the profile examined (origin, likely destination based on course, speed, configuration) and if it fits the druggie profile blow it up.
These are not fishermen in their multiple-outboard go-fast boats making 65 knots in open water, full of cargo and heading for the U.S.
Executive branch activities are none of their beeswax.
Young can get all of the info he needs the way Americans do. Watch the news. They’ve covered every explosion of the foreign invaders’ fentanyl shipments to kill Americans.
Just put several attorneys on each boat. Maybe that would satisfy this RINO loser.
Perhaps a burst of 20mm or 30mm cannon fire could be used to sink the boats.
That reminds me of the joke, “What do you call 100 lawyers at the bottom of the ocean?”
