Beloved Rock Singer Dies at 71: ‘A Truly Singular Talent’

A rock singer who performed for decades has died at the age of 71. Marcie Free, formerly known as Mark Free, sang with the bands Unruly Child, King Kobra, and Signal. Her death was confirmed on October 24 by bandmate Jay Schellen.
In a Facebook post, Schellen wrote, “I just couldn’t find the words last night when I heard the news that my loving friend and bandmate in Unruly Child Marcie Free has passed.”
