Stephen Miller, White House deputy chief of staff, fiercely criticized Democratic California Governor Gavin Newsom and the Biden administration’s immigration policies on Friday, claiming they directly enabled a deadly multi-vehicle crash in California.
During an appearance on Fox News’ “The Will Cain Show,” Miller focused on the case of Jashanpreet Singh, a 21-year-old Indian national living illegally in the U.S., who triggered a fatal highway wreck that left three people dead.
A Department of Transportation (DOT) probe revealed Singh had maintained and even upgraded his commercial driver’s license (CDL) just days before the alleged drug-fueled incident in Ontario, California.
Miller argued the tragedy was a direct consequence of Governor Newsom’s policy of extending commercial driving privileges to noncitizens.
“Gavin Newsom in his state has a policy to give commercial driver’s licenses to individuals who do not know how to speak English and do not know how to drive,” Miller stated. “Those are policy choices that Gov. Newsom and his state have made. So it’s one Democrat policy choice after another.”

Newsom will probably pardon him or something
For those that didn’t see it - video of the crash

He hits home and doesn’t care what anyone thinks. I think Holman is the same way.
Looks like the party is channeling their inner Lee Atwater-remember him? Methinks Bush-types need these people but are too embarrassed to make them high profile.
Hochul to Newsom: Hold my beer.
If you drive in NYS, I hope you’ve got good insurance.
“”Singh had maintained and even upgraded his commercial driver’s license (CDL) just days before the alleged drug-fueled incident in Ontario, California.””
As usual, you can’t get much information from articles anymore..what was the driver “released” from - WERE drugs involved - was the driver killed - what does “maintained and upgraded” his CDL mean? Kept renewing his CDL without any driving or written tests?
Was he alive and charged criminally after the accident which was NOT AN ACCIDENT?
I can’t believe the number of cars scattered across the freeway without more deaths and then the truck (I guess) continued on to hit a crew on the side of the freeway?
Guess I’ll google to get more details..
I could have been in that wreck. I have traveled past that site perhaps a thousand times or more, since the days when the freeway was called Route 99 and lined with vineyards as far as the eye could see.
Newsom doesn't care, he is a megalomaniac who only cares about himself and his public appearance.
Washington state too:
Harjinder Singh, an Indian national accused of causing a fatal crash in Florida in August 2025, failed his Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) written exam ten times within a two-month period in Washington state.
A lot more information in this release...This guy lived in Yuba City, CA which is a long way from Ontario, CA (414 miles) so he certainly had to drive to get from there to Southern CA on CA freeways - have to wonder how many accidents he caused/left behind that were never attributed to him and his driving...
WHO hired him to drive for them?
“”Route 99””
I don’t think that was in Ontario, CA - used to take it to go from S. California NORTH - the entire length of the state, I believe...used to have to carry gas in your vehicle as it was absolutely deserted on the way to Sacramento without any facilities until 99 was bypassed and the new freeway was put in...
I’d expect lots of wrongful death lawsuits over all this. This was massive negligence, giving CDL’s to people unqualified for them. Every individual who approved this should forfeit everything they own to the families of the dead & injured.
In the 1950s and early 1960s, the San Bernardino Freeway was Highway 99 and the Santa Ana Freeway was Highway 101. By 1967, 99 and I-10 highway signs were posted together on the San Bernardino Freeway. The 99 signs disappeared soon afterwards. Route 99 now starts near Mettler, about 25 miles south of Bakersfield.
If you want to sound like a Southern Californian, call the San Bernardino Freeway “the 10,” the Santa Ana Freeway “the five,” the Orange Freeway “the 57,” etc.
the I10 was part of route 66 and had lots of orange trees
Is that where Route 66 ended and became I 10 - it would have gone all the way to Santa Monica???
After doing all that, then I’d say certain individuals should be deported.
