Democrat Governor Tony Evers announced over the summer that he will not seek reelection. That leaves the door open for Republicans which would give the GOP total control of state government.

A name being floated for the Democrats is Mandela Barnes. Barnes left the Lt. Gov. position to run against Ron Johnson for the U.S. Senate. Barnes lost that race.

My friends-this has more to do with the state of Wisconsin than it does Mandela Barnes. He came close to beating Johnson for his senate seat. The GOP had to put a lot of pressure on Johnson to rerun even though he was committed to only 2 terms.

Like the GOP I think democrats are hesitant to vote for a black for governor(executive). Senators can get away with being rock throwers. Obama's supporters never used his middle name Hussein. Mandela is his first name and there are too many polaks in that state to not notice.

Methinks Mandela won't run. Perhaps a rematch with Johnson in '28 but JD will be the big item on the ballot. Think Iowa, Ohio, and Pennsylvania trending red. So what's he gonna do?

Gonna be awesome.

Barnes is a LOSER with a Capitol L! I’m anxious to see who President Trump backs in this race for Governor.

Whoever it is, they’ll win if they stick to the basics of MAGA.

There really are only a few pockets of Blue in our state.

Does not matter. Galactic level of incompetence in RPW who are more interested in purging grass root conservatives and TPUSA They have raised no money, have no message, and without TPUSA will be shown to be woefully inept of GOTV.

As long as current “leadership” at RPW is in place statewide losses will rack up.

One of many state-level GOP organizations who are run by disguised subversives from the Democrat Party. The unwillingness of the GOP to identify and weed out these people is causing the country a lot of trouble.
