A man allegedly in the U.S. illegally and accused of driving a truck at the center of a deadly pile-up in California pleaded not guilty to multiple charges Friday.
Jashanpreet Singh, 21, of Yuba City, California, was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence of drugs and vehicular manslaughter while intoxicated.

The DHS said Thursday that Singh is a “criminal alien” from India. Singh first entered the U.S. in 2022 through the southern border and was “released” under the Biden administration.

Two of the three people killed in Wednesday’s crash were identified as Clarence Nelson and his wife, Lisa. Clarence Nelson was a former assistant basketball coach at Pomona High who had most recently coached at Rancho Cucamonga High. Pomona High posted a tribute to Nelson on its Facebook page.

Whoever runs the California DMV should be charged as an accomplice.

Well, they gotta let him go, there are still Innocent American Men, Women and Children that American Truck drivers won't Kill.
Is it too much of a stretch to put the entire California DMV on trial for racketeering, corruption, and criminal conspiracy?
Not that California DMV doesn't do the same.
Why are they so tight lipped about the intoxicated part? Alcohol, heroin? And is this murderer being held in jail or has California already released him?

Mug shot....sans turban.
.....put the entire California DMV on trial for racketeering, corruption, and criminal conspiracy......
Yeeeessss........I second the motion.
Well, of course he pleads not guilty. Just because he was driving under the influence of drugs and not watching the road, does that really make him responsible? /s
Where the hell are the business owners who hired him and the DMV bureaucrats who issued him a CDL?
I had a CDL when I was a fire fighter in California. It took me a year of training and testing and I had to get a medical every year. Democrats are murderers.
21 & BEYOND REPAIR, IMO.
HE’S 21 & BEYOND REPAIR, IMO.
Hope he’s in jail for a long....long time.
How many illegal alien truck drivers are out there on our roads?

As we continue our investigation into California, Washington, and Harjinder Singh, we learned that Singh failed his written exam 10 times, and he took his behind-the-wheel training course at a private CDL school in Washington.
That school will be hearing from my office soon.
In his country this wouldn't even be a crime.
Just pay a little baksheesh to the victims' surviving family members and drag the bodies into the Ganges.
I fear we've allowed this to become so widespread over the past decade or so that cracking down on it would bring shipping to a halt in the United States.
During my commute here is Southern California, I like to play the game "spot the white truck driver." The only white guys I see are the civilians driving the tankers full of jet fuel on the Navy base. This leads me to believe that there are still regulations enforced when it comes to HAZMAT but the rigs full of regular commerce? Likely all illegals.
