We could just deport him, but you seem to want some kind of justice; and under our system, he gets to have a trial and defense, and he’s innocent until proven guilty.

I’m sure you would want that for your own child, even if you don’t care about the concerns of other parents.

You have a very distorted view of what parenting is - we are the guides, the guardians, the protectors of our children while they are minors. When they are adults, they have the responsibility for what they do - right or wrong. If they violate the law, they must pay the price.

No one is saying that they shouldn't face trial (except his home town, apparently) - but any parent worth the name tells their children that they must face up to what they have done and accept their punishment.
