Quiet? Has the writer been living under a rock?
So more and more women are taking charge of the jobs used to be reserved for men. Many have even abandoned showing off their boobs and butts by wearing men’s suits. I wonder if another World War breaks out if they will flock down to the recruiting centers like the young men did at the outbreak of
WWII and volunteer to lay down their lives to protect America?
The problem for a lot of men is that their livelihood depended on them being quiet and deferential. Even today a man can lose his job for just being blunt and honest in the workplace. In the court room they can lose their children. Our nation has become so feminized that it is dangerous for men to be men in public. While I agree with his premise, I understand how hard and dangerous it will be for men to win back the rightful place in society that they gave away over the last 40+ years.
What happened is technology. It used to be that you needed manly strength to do a lot of things and make a living.
With the advent of computers and machinery that has made brute force much less necessary, women have been able to enter the workforce and make a living like men, so the dependency on man has pretty much disappeared - thanks to all the inventions of men.
Another technology that has liberated women is all the different birth controls. This has given them control of if and when they want to have kids.
Bottom line, the technology invented and built my men has allowed women to now compete with men on a fairly equal footing in pretty much all jobs including high level decision making jobs.
As a result this has had a very significant effect on the quality of these decisions.
Women tend to make decisions more based on emotions, men instead rely more on rationality and analysis of long term cause and effect.
Thus we’re just beginning to see the (bad) consequences of women getting into high level decision making positions.
Question is, how will this end?
