No, he started out as a mechanical engineer for Boeing. His parents had superior bona fides too. I suspect he was caught up in the drug enhanced liberal environment and thus the comedy act.

I detest Bill Nye, but he does have a BS in mechanical engineering, does that make him a scientist…no, a science guy? I don’t know, but I do know that using scientific process, he’s a liberal Twat A-hole.

Bill Nye used to be part of the Universe of Energy pavilion at EPCOT, sponsored by Exxon. Hourly, you could watch Bill tell EPCOT visitors the ‘jury is still out’ regarding global warming... since Exxon was paying.
